UN chief Antonio Guterres acknowledged Tuesday that it was time for Russia to cease their “absurd war” in Ukraine, declaring the struggle “unwinnable.”
The Secretary Frequent told journalists at the field body’s headquarters in New York that the war “is going nowhere, fleet.”
“For more than two weeks, Mariupol has been encircled by the Russian navy and relentlessly bombed, shelled and attacked. For what?” he acknowledged.
“Even when Mariupol falls, Ukraine cannot be conquered city by city, boulevard by boulevard, house by house.”
