Pakistan vs Australia, third Test, Day 1, Highlights: Usman Khawaja missed out on but one other century as Pakistan pegged again Australia on Day 1 of the continuing third and closing Test on the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. At stumps, Australia were 232 for five with Cameron Green and Alex Carey batting unbeaten on 20 and eight respectively. At one stage, Australia were 8 for two after Shaheen Afridi’s double strike had sent David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne again to the pavilion. On the opposite hand, Smith (59) and Khawaja (91) steadied the ship with 138-bound stand for the third wicket. Earlier, Australia captain Pat Cummins had gained the toss and elected to bat first.
