Maharashtra Minister Aditya Thackeray on Thursday acknowledged that the Brihanmumbai Electrical energy Present and Transport (BEST) is procuring 900 AC electric double-decker buses for Mumbai.
The Maharashtra Minister acknowledged that he and Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray were in my concept keen about reviving Mumbai’s iconic double-decker buses.
“The BEST double-decker, now electric! Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and I even were in my concept keen about reviving Mumbai’s iconic double-decker buses,” he acknowledged in a tweet.
He extra acknowledged that goal is to gain most double-decker buses, as this may maybe improve the skill.
“Whereas doing so, the BEST is procuring 900 of them, entirely electric and emission-free. As we plot bigger our BEST speedy, in the extinguish to 10,000 electric/clever alternate gas buses, our goal is to gain most double-decker buses, as this may maybe improve our skill,” he acknowledged.
Moreover Mumbai, Aditya acknowledged, he has requested municipal commissioners of different cities who are procuring electric buses to also add double-decker electric buses into their fleets on busy routes.
