Karachi: Terrorists are continuously targeting Pakistan’s army. Pakistani army was targeted through IED, in which five Pakistani soldiers including a commander were killed. The incident is from the story of Balochistan. According to the Balochistan Post, the name of the commander killed in this attack was Captain Fahad. The others who were killed were Sepoys Asrag, Shamoom, Mehran and Lance Naik Imtiyaz. Six other Pakistani army personnel were injured in the attack. The Balochistan Liberation Army has claimed responsibility for the attack. Apart from this, the infamous terrorist group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) carried out several attacks in the Balochistan province in the last two days, in which six security personnel were killed and some others were injured. The media department of Pakistan Army gave this information on Sunday. According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media wing of Pakistan Army, a terrorist and a soldier were killed in an encounter between terrorists and security forces in an intelligence operation conducted in Sambaja area of Zhob district.
Campaign continues for 96 hours According to the statement, this campaign was launched on the basis of reliable information and this campaign is going on for the last 96 hours. According to an ISPR statement, the operation was aimed “to prevent terrorists from sneaking into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province across the Pakistan-Afghanistan border and using some suspected routes to target civilians and security forces”. Four killed in attack on military vehicle In a separate incident, terrorists in Danuk Gogdan area of Turbot on Saturday attacked a Frontier Corps vehicle in which four soldiers were killed. Unidentified motorcycle-borne assailants fired at a check post in the border town of Chaman late last night, killing a levy (provincial paramilitary force) jawan. TTP has claimed responsibility for the attacks in Turbat and Chaman.
