The Ministry of External Affairs on Tuesday instructed that all college students who had been stranded in Ukraine’s Sumy city were evacuated.
Taking to microblogging field Twitter, MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi acknowledged all Indian college students were moved out from Sumy and are en route to Poltava. The college students will then board trains to western Ukraine. They’ll be brought house aboard particular flights under ‘Operation Ganga’.
Bagchi wrote: Overjoyed to uncover that we absorb got been in a position to switch out all Indian college students from Sumy. They are at show cloak en route to Poltava, from where they’ll board trains to western Ukraine. Flights under Operation Ganga are being animated to relate them house.”

Meanwhile, the Indian Embassy in Kyiv told Indian electorate to make spend of the humanitarian corridors opening at 10 am Moscow time (12.30 pm IST) on Tuesday to proceed the nation the usage of trains or vehicles or any varied readily accessible manner of transport.
