Sooner than the 73rd Republic Day, Delhi Police has beefed up security features in the nationwide capital. Addressing a Press Convention, Delhi Police Commissioner Rakesh Asthana on January 23 said, “Counter Drone technology is being weak for air field security and over 27,000 police personnel, including 65 companies of Central Armed Police Forces, were deployed for security arrangements all in the course of the Republic Day celebration.”
